Langford Village School has a very supportive and active Parent Teacher Association (PTA). As a parent, grandparent, guardian, carer or teacher of a child at Langford Village School, you are a member of the Friends of Langford Village School (FOLVS) ~ Welcome!
FOLVS has a vision to engage parents more effectively with the school, thus improving communication channels so parents feel welcome to get involved in school and PTA life.

PTA Meeting Dates – everyone welcome:
One of FOLVS's main tasks is fundraising. The committee organises a number of events throughout the year, such as Christmas and Summer events, regular discos for the children and family events. We also support the school by serving refreshments at zone days, organising Christmas cards made by the children and helping to finance the coaches and school minibus.
Our work has also extended to provide more social non-fundraising activities to provide opportunities for families and staff to come together at school with the sole purpose of having fun.
A committee of parents and teachers run the PTA. There is an annual general meeting held in October and meetings every month, which all parents are invited to, if they are interested or just want to help out.
Absolutely every contribution by parents makes a great difference to the children at the school. Thank you for your continued support. Please stay in touch to keep involved with what's going on.
